Ingenuity

I is for 'ingenuity'.  Here's why:

Ingenuity- 'the quality of being clever, original, and inventive'
...and humble...
But whoever came up with this binding style (accordion) really was ingenious!

I am really excited to see how I like working in an accordion bound journal.
I think it will be A LOT!

The pages lie very flat on their own.  Which if you journal in a regular book style journal, you know that can be a problem.

I used some 6x6 scrapbook paper (mostly double sided) that I have had for a long, long time.
(And the covers are watercolor paper...it's a little more sturdy.)

I have a tendency to be a bit of an art supply junkie.

If I see it and like it I buy it...and eventually, I might get around to using it!

That's what happened with these 6x6 paper pads.

Of course, you could use any size/type of paper you have lying around to make one of these accordion journals.

There are some great tutorials on Pinterest if you need one.

I will definitely be making more of these.

I have a ton and a half of 12x12 scrapbook paper in my stash.

And a bunch of watercolor paper.

And a bunch of mixed media paper.

And a bunch of ephemera paper.

I'm not a hoarder, I swear!

I'm a junkie...I will eventually use my stash...(haha)

I can't wait to try out my new Ingenuity Journal and see how I like working in it.

But first, I'm going to repaint my nails...the chipping is real and it is a problem!
